Don’t Toss Those Returned Early Voting Postcards —Michigan Law Says They’re Important
Under Michigan law a returned Early Voting postcard can count as "reliable information" that a Michigan voter has moved, triggering a confirmation notice that places them in "Verify" status. If that notice also returns undeliverable, in-state movers enter "Challenge" status and risk cancellation after two federal election cycles without confirmation or voting.
