How to Deliver the Conservative Message

MFEI Editor’s note: If you are a person of good will — and if you are reading this, I'm guessing you are a person of good will — you are going to agree 100% with Amy Hawkins' advice. Many of you have heard it before. "No one cares about how much you know until they know how much you care." Let's stop caring so much about Washington and care more about Main Street.

How do you and I convince the world that the conservative way is the best option? For one, we have to communicate it. But how we communicate it is backward to what we have been taught.
American culture of late has taught us:
You have to change things from the top down
Only the elected leaders, bosses, or “experts” can lead the way
The “top” (or head of something) matters most
We have been taught wrong. And we better wake up fast and smell the roses.
How do we deliver the conservative message in a meaningful and convincing way? It is backward from what you will think. It will push you from your comfort zone. And you are the only one to do it.
Its principle goes back to the beginning of Christianity. But whether you are an atheist or the most passionate of Christ followers, this principle applies.
If we want to effectively deliver the conservative message, we have to:
Stop talking with our mouths
Start “talking” with our actions
But where do we do this? We do it among the one key group that only you can reach. We must actively:
Love our neighbors (Jesus said it was the most important “principle”).
Serve and live out solutions in our neighborhood.
Invite others to be part of this “journey of life” with you.
You want to know how to save America? How to preserve freedom and make sure that all the good policies President Trump and team are driving at the top “stick” for generations to come?
You and I must start looking to our local community.
Any farmer knows if you want a tomato in your garden, you have to first plant the plant. You don’t go to the national HQ for Tomatoes and demand that they make one appear.
This is what our nation has gotten wrong over the past few decades. We have convinced the individual soul that their life cannot make a difference, and that we need “government” or “big experts” to make the changes so that our lives our better. All we have to do is sit on the sidelines and … wait? Sure, that is part of it but it is only a piece of the puzzle.
How do you start communicating conservative philosophies through your actions - and not your mouths? I’ll talk to you about that in the next post.
It’s really not that difficult to save America. But if we want to see things improve - for the long run (and we should) we have to start where we are … and no one else can do it but you. Talk less. Let your actions deliver your message where you are. And things will start to change.
More soon.
