Charlie Kirk Says Mail-In Ballots Still in Play
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is saying it’s not realistic to end all mail-in voting overnight. Syndicated columnist Gregory Lyakhov reported Kirk’s opinion in an August 22 post on X (formerly Twitter) based on a conversation he’d had with Kirk.
In Michigan during the 2024 election, when some get-out-the-vote volunteers were urging voters to vote early and vote in person, Kirk’s 501(c)4 organization, Turning Point Action (TPAction), took a different approach, using its volunteers to “chase ballots,” contacting low propensity voters in certain demographic groups who requested absentee ballots and urging them to fill out their ballots and get them turned in.
Jeff Schaeper, Michigan Fair Elections Institute’s Director of Operations, was puzzled by Kirk’s opinion. “Why is it unrealistic to end mail-in ballots? The next general election isn’t for another 14 months.” In the 2024 election cycle, Schaeper was an advocate of “feed the machine.” He is still advising voters, “Don’t lose control of your ballot. Don’t trust it to the mail, to a ballot harvester, or even a clerk. Feed your ballot into the tabulator yourself.”
Fed Reserve Governor with Two Primary Addresses – Two Voter Registrations?
Federal Reserve Governor Lisa DeNell Cook is under scrutiny for potential mortgage fraud, but now there are other concerns as well.
The most prominent allegations center on mortgage documents from 2021, where Cook is accused of designating two properties—one in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and another in Atlanta, Georgia—as her primary residence within weeks of each other. Specifically, on June 18, 2021, she signed mortgage documents identifying the Michigan residence as her primary residence, and on July 2, 2021, she identified an Atlanta condo as her primary residence.
On May 23, 2022, President Biden appointed Cook to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. She is the first woman of color to serve on the seven-member board.
While she is being investigated for mortgage fraud, Michigan Fair Elections Institute volunteers are investigating potential voter fraud. With two locations designated as a primary residence, where is Cook registered to vote? Where is Cook casting her ballot?

MI AG Says DOJ Doesn’t Have Staff to Force States to Comply with Election Info Requests
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is bragging about her office’s ability to block what she is calling “the administration’s alarming and aggressive data collection efforts.”
In the latest episode of Pantsuits and Lawsuits, a podcast hosted by Nessel and Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, the two AGs claim President Trump has “the most unconstitutional administration in American history.” The attorneys general worry the federal government will use the information for immigration enforcement.
Nessel and Mayes see a silver lining, saying in their press release, “In many cases the Trump administration has abandoned its efforts after initial court defeats rather than pursuing appeals — a pattern the attorneys general attribute partly to staffing challenges at the Department of Justice, where many experienced attorneys have departed.”
