Friend,
Today is Presidential Primary Day. If you haven't voted already, don't forget to go to the polls and cast your ballot for the presidential candidate of your choice. It's important. Here's why:
In Michigan, voters do not have to go on record and declare their party of choice. For this reason, they can pick the party's ballot and vote for the candidate they prefer in the Presidential Primary. Hypothetically, say the opposing party doesn't want to run against a strong candidate? Politics being what it is, activists have been known to cross over and vote for a candidate they think their party can defeat.
Don't let that happen to your favorite candidate. Show up. Cast your ballot. Let your voice be heard.
Below is an example of an Ingham County ballot. To see what's on your local ballot, go to https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/PublicBallot/Index.
NOTE: All the Republican candidates except Donald J. Trump and Nikki Haley have actually dropped out. Joseph Biden and Dean Phillips are the two remaining choices on the Democrat ticket.
Go vote. It's important.
