Durham Report: Read. Watch. Hear.

Friend,

The May 12 release of the Durham Report culminated three years of government-funded investigation and kicked the state propaganda machine (SPM) into high gear. The goal: To divert the public's attention and obfuscate the report's damning findings of the FBI's unlawful and reprehensible conduct.

To clinch the mis-, mal- and dis-information campaign, the SPM is smearing the heretofore universally respected John Durham, special prosecutor and lead investigator.

As Glenn Greenwald reported in the short video below,

"This is amazing that this is not the top dominant story in the United States, and this is because our media institutions are irrevocably and fundamentally corrupted."

To those who might feel tempted to think Greenwald's statement an exaggeration, consider the top news reported in the New York Times on May 15, the Monday following Friday's release of the Durham Report:

No mention of the Durham Report.

The NY Times' first covered of the long-awaited report on May 17, five days after its release, and the headline was decidedly negative: After Years of Political Hype, the Durham Inquiry Failed to Deliver.

As if the headline didn't adequately convey the editor's bias, the article's first sentence continued the slant: A dysfunctional investigation led by a Trump-era special counsel illustrates a dilemma about prosecutorial independence and accountability in politically sensitive matters.

What happened to the Times' 127-year-old slogan, "All the news that's fit to print"? Where in journalist ethics is a publication allowed to insert blatant smears into the headline and the published copy of breaking news? Time was, journalists were duty bound to report the honest truth.

Miscreants who crossed the line were tarnished as hacks. Their publications suffered the label of yellow journalism. Editorializing was supposed to confine itself to editorial pages. When bias crept into a reporter's writing, editors worth their salt struck it out. Failure to report the news in an objective manner put a publication's reputation at risk.Biased publications were dismissed offhand as rags.

When government agencies and state-controlled media squelch opposing views, we have propaganda. It's as simple as that.

To quote Mollie Hemingway's assessment during a recent Fox News interview with Laura Ingraham:

"One of the things that Durham said that was so sobering was that he said we don't even want to come up with new rules and guidelines because we already have them and until and unless the members of the FBI begin to care about fidelity, bravery, or integrity nothing matters. That is a very sobering assessment...."

What is to be done?

The only way to know the truth is to read the report. Firsthand knowledge is the best defense against media spin. Below are links to the full Durham Report and some notable media coverage.

Enjoy. And be of good cheer.

Despite the perpetrators' desperate efforts to withhold and conceal information from the special prosecutor's team, the truth came out. Now it is in the hands of the U.S. House of Representatives, and they will not be so quick to dismiss, deny, and besmirch the documented facts.

For election integrity,

"Here you have one of the most respected prosecutors in the country...and he just issued a 300 page report that shows the "powers of the FBI were radically and consistently and repeatedly abused for overtly political ends. Not just for any overtly political ends but with the specific intention of coercing an outcome in the 2016 election that the ideologically and politically motivated agents of senior leadership of the FBI wanted." John Durham—held as one of the most respected & apolitical prosecutors in the country—just issued his earth-shattering report, documenting with extensive evidence how the FBI radically abused its power to sabotage the 2016 Trump campaign for their own political ends. The fact that this is not the leading story across every US news outlet tells you everything you need to know about our fundamentally corrupted media.
