Patriots v Tyrants: Pushing back Fed. censorship in a winner take all game.

How the federal government partnered with universities to censor Americans' free speech, and how citizens are defending their rights.

by Patrice Johnson | November 14, 2023

The score is Tyrants 13, Patriots 1. The big-government-big-tech Tyrants have dominated the first three-quarters, running secret censorship plays and covert election-influence campaigns. The Tyrants have the ball on the 10 yard line and are in a huddle, planning to make a game-clinching touchdown. To the right, the Patriots are squabbling over defensive plays.

Just as the fourth-quarter is about to start, four Patriot linebackers thunder onto the field. X (formerly known as Twitter), the U.S. House of Representatives, and federal courts are determined to hold the line and push the Tyrants back.

This is the current political field.

In the wake of three champions suiting up and entering the fray, a new report by the Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO) shows Big Gov/Big Tech are losing ground and exerting shrinking influence over free speech.

The shift in momentum appears so significant that Yoel Roth, who was once Twitter’s head of “Trust and Safety” and who called the plays in speech control for the 2020 US presidential election, has hit the road with several high-profile speaking engagements (see here, here and here).

Roth is painting “a somber picture of the diminished power of censorship professionals ahead of 2024.”

Flag on the field

Roth is sounding the alarm that the censorship industry is slowly but surely being put on the defensive. According to an article in Just the News, Roth told an audience at a UCLA presentation that “the pendulum” is swinging against censorship on social media and in the public square because advocates against “disinformation” have stopped pressuring platforms to take action.

Q: And who might these “advocates against disinformation” be?

A: Why, progressive nonprofits in league with power-drunk government officials and over-reaching government agencies.

Q: Why are they losing ground on censorship?

A: The Patriot team is tackling the incestuous government/progressive alliances and their illegal tyrant activities. The patriots are filing, and winning, lawsuits against the Tyrants for violating federal law and tromping on We the People's constitutional right to speak their minds.

To quote Just the News, some of the public pressure that Roth spoke about has come from the House Judiciary Committee and its Weaponization of the Federal Government Subcommittee. The committee previously held hearings on the revelations from "The Twitter Files," a series of exposés published primarily by journalists Matt Taibbi [see his video below], Bari Weiss, and Michael Shellenberger, which showed the extent of Twitter’s cooperation with the federal government to censor individual tweets and accounts that were deemed misinformation by the “experts.”

The pressure has continued since the release of the Twitter Files. This week, the House committee released a report on what it described as “censorship laundering” by the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). CISA created the Election Integrity Partnership, allegedly formed to circumvent legal issues that would prevent the federal government from directly monitoring [and silencing through third parties] speech, according to a report from Just the News. -- Editor added bracketed materia.

U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan's report on the unconstitutional censorship actions of the federal government with respect to its involvement in the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) is perhaps the MOST DAMNING indicator of a treasonous conspiracy to subvert the integrity of U.S. elections.

Explicit evidence shows that federal agencies created the EIP to fill the role of Orwell's "Ministry of Truth." Then the government, EIP, universities, big tech, and big media colluded to suppress the truth.

Poor little elitist, Joel.

The buzzer sounds.

The fourth-quarter presidential election cycle is about to begin. But this is no game, and the stakes could hardly be higher. The winner is likely to determine whether this nation enters a thousand years of darkness or remains the beacon of freedom on the hill.
