Stockbridge, Mich. — Michigan Fair Elections Institute (MFEI) is supplying technical assistance to a large-scale investigation of election materials from Detroit’s 2020 election.
As reported exclusively by Patty McMurray in The Gateway Pundit, a New Jersey man used the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to successfully gain access to all election materials (ballots, mail-in ballot applications, poll books) associated with the controversial 2020 election in Detroit.
Several experts affiliated with Michigan Fair Elections Institute will be assisting with analysis of the data and the audit procedures.
“Our position is to advise and assist the principal investigators in following the evidence wherever it leads,” said MFEI Founder and Chair Patrice Johnson. “This is a massive undertaking, and we are making no assumptions about what, if anything, will be uncovered.”
Johnson described MFEI’s role as limited. “Because of our past work analyzing election results and regularly monitoring the Qualified Voter File, we have built up a unique level of expertise over the past four years. We also have done important work auditing election-related programs. That’s where our expertise will be directed.” She encouraged readers to view the MFEI library, containing the nonprofit organization’s original research and investigative reports, here.
Detroit was one of the November 4, 2020, election night hot spots across the country along with Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Phoenix. This investigation will be the first time Detroit’s 2020 Presidential election results have been investigated at such an intense level.
For additional details about how the investigation is being conducted, MFEI is putting inquirers in touch with Patty McMurry and The Gateway Pundit.
Michigan Fair Elections Institute is a non-partisan, 501(c)3 organization promoting election integrity primarily through education and service but also, as a last resort, through the judicial system.
